The first clock was without a cuckoo, but it is still considered as start of the traditional cuckoo clock. At half-hours and on the hour, the cuckoo calls. The cuckoo bird is carved, the dial, numerals are all also made out of wood. For the night you can shutdown the cuckoo calling.

There are always 2 boxes: Inner Box with foam which is adjusted to every cuckoo clock and an outer box. This way we make sure no cuckoo clock will be damaged through shipping.
